This past weekend I dined at Clyde Common (located in the Ace Hotel) with a group of 6 ladies celebrating my good friend’s upcoming wedding. We were seated quickly by a friendly and helpful staff. On our waiter’s recommendations we chose two bottles of red off of the wine list and decided to sample each appetizer listed on the menu. They timed our appetizers perfectly, bringing out two dishes at a time giving us the opportunity to enjoy each one fresh from the kitchen. Some stand-outs for me were the white bean salad, chicken-fried chicken liver on an herb salad with lemon aoli, and the pork sliders – served on a fresh bun with a thinly sliced pickle.
Overall a fabulous experience. I definitely will be back to try the popcorn which I have heard wonderful things about. I would love to experience some of their entree choices as well – perhaps even dessert! Prices were fairly reasonable, most seating is at large communal tables so unless you are dining with a large group expect to be seated with a few people you don’t know.
